Spring Concert – Dover Days

Band Members

• Report time: 6:00PM
• Bring your black music stand. Silver is okay too, but no other colors please.
• Concert is outdoors. Bring a stand light and plexiglass/clips to anchor music.
• Musician attire is summer. Black pants, black socks, black dress shoes (no sneakers), blue/gold FSSB shirt. Please wear a long sleeve black or navy blue shirt UNDER the uniform shirt.
• Listen for announcements about helping to pick up chairs, giving the percussion section a hand with moving equipment, etc. Your help is greatly appreciated.
• Directions & Parking: Click here for a map of downtown Dover. We are playing in front of Legislative Hall, near the Green. There is a designated parking area for the band (refer to the map) and YOU MUST have the BAND PARKING sign in the window of your car or the police will not let you park there. Print a copy of the BAND PARKING sign and put it in your folder. We will have some copies available on Thursday night of the Dover map and the parking sign. Give yourself plenty of time on Friday to get into place. Some streets may be closed, so have your GPS ready. Once you’re in Dover, it’s pretty easy to make your way to the Green area / Legislative Hall using GPS. It’s advised to leave your cases in your vehicle, unless your case will fit under your chair. There may not be a lot of room around the stage area for personal belongings and cases and they may not be secured while we’re performing. Be alert and aware of your surroundings!
