Summer Concert – Union Park Gardens

Band Members
We’re performing for the lovely community at Union Park Gardens, located at Sycamore Street and Bankcroft Parkway. In the community there’s a grassy island that runs between the streets. The band should start setting up 5:30, please arrive as soon as you can. There will be a trailer of some sort and Opera DE will be putting on a short show from 6pm to 6:45pm. The band needs to take seats QUIETLY while the Opera show is going on. When the Opera program is over, they will introduce our band. The band may be playing a reduced program, depending on the time. Please watch and listen to Jon as he will tell you what songs you will be playing.
- Report time: 5:30PM
- Bring your black music stand. Silver is okay too, but no other colors please.
- Concert is outdoors. Bring plexiglass and clips to anchor music.
- Musician attire: summer
- Black pants, black socks, black dress shoes (no sneakers), blue/gold FSSB shirt
- Listen for announcements about helping to pick up chairs, giving the percussion section a hand with moving equipment, etc. Your help is greatly appreciated.
